waste only because no-one goes there. What would be great is a rally of some sort, it is pretty, lots of potential, but empty.Oh probably working boats would fight for the dredging to get there - K2 did!!!

It wasn't empty when we were there in March. In fact, we had to reverse down to the (very shallow) end of one of the arms to moor. It took me by surprise, I must admit, as the run down to Coventry has a bit of a bad reputation, but it was nice to see the basin full of boats.
Ok cool - I've only been there twice, and both times, I have been the only passing boat - others obviously staying there for a while!!
Glad it's being used...
Still a "sent to coventry" rally would be fun.
Went to Coventry basin yesterday about 4 narrow boats there but the rest looked closed,nice place but it does need something to put it on the map.I think it is the wrong side of the ringway and suffers as does the rest of Coventry by a lack of clear signs.
Well, we went there - on foot and by boat and there were several boats there on both occasions.
We like it, but as you say it has wasted potential
